Awesome Australia!

"Here's another piece!"

The small charter airplane was literally coming apart in mid-air! The pilot seemed amused as I called out my alarm over the headset intercom.

Deep in the desolate arid interior of the Northern Territory, we were flying 1000 feet above the red-hued rock of Uluru, the sacred Aboriginal site formerly known as Ayers Rock. Sitting in the rear cargo hold of a single-engine Cessna 217, photographing the scene beneath me, air was rushing inside through the open fuselage door, slowly ripping apart the interior trim and carpet! It was very alarming... and annoying too!

Find out what happens next, as Voyageurfred takes you on a breathtaking trip through the Aussie Outback, the steaming rainforests of Queensland, and trekking up the highest peaks of the Australian Alps. A marvellous road trip follows to the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, visits to the sparkling metropolises of Sydney and Melbourne, then onward on the famous Great Ocean Highway to Adelaide.

Nature lovers will enjoy the colourful birds, bouncing kangaroos, cute wallabies, fuzzy koala bears, red-sided skinks, dragon lizards and mystical rainbow serpents!

So join Voyageurfred for the adventure in his month-long, 15,000km journey of discovery as he recounts the stories, history, and the people he meets in this odyssey through the Land Down Under.

It's a colourful 90 minute show, featuring Australian folk music and atmospheric Aboriginal melodies, played on the famous didjeridu!
